Property assessment open house

Residents are getting their property assessments starting this week as Lloydminster city administration have put the document in the mail and are inviting property owners with queries to sign up for an open house.

Administration wants property owners to review their assessment notices to confirm that the information is current and accurate. The 2023 property assessments are based on the market value as of July 1, 2022.

Property owners may contact the Assessment Department or attend the open house session in early March. Inquiries about assessments can be made online at Lloydminster.ca/assessmentform, by email: [email protected] or by phone at 780-875-6184, Ext. 2146 (residential) or 780-875-6184, Ext. 2145 (non-residential).

Also officials suggest that if after discussions with the Assessment department,  an owner is still not in agreement with the assessment, they may file a written complaint to the Assessment Review Board (Alberta) or the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency.
