Synergy Credit Union has made the cut for a sixth-year in a row on the list of Saskatchewan’s top employers.
Mediacorp in granting the recognition noted that Synergy supports ongoing employee development, offers staff tuition subsidies for training, along with guidance for retirement preparation and financial benefits like discounted rates among other incentives.
“This award is evidence of our unrelenting commitment towards a work environment and work culture that puts our employees first,” said Synergy CEO Glenn Stang. “Synergy will always prioritize the well-being of our staff.”
Last year, Synergy staffers contributed over 7,500 volunteer hours and each year, up to 5% of Synergy’s pre-tax profit is set aside to fund community projects, states a Synergy release.
“We continually monitor our financial rewards, programs, and workplace experience to ensure we are offering employees exceptional employment,” said Synergy’s human resources manager, Erin Close. “This also includes a focus on creating safe, healthy, diverse and inclusive workplaces for our employees.”
