With temperatures rising as spring weather takes effect, the City of Lloydminster is closing the skating surface at Bud Miller Park as it is no longer possible to maintain safe ice conditions for skating.
Over the winter months nine ice surfaces were maintained by the city and they thank everyone who took advantage of the facilities to enjoy outdoor skating.
If anyone is still interested in skating they can enjoy free public indoor skating by checking the city’s website for skate time availability.
