Three suspects face trafficking charges following police raid

RCMP have laid charges against three suspects after officers executed a search warrant at a Lloydminster area home.

On April 4, Lloydminster General Investigation Section (GIS), along with Lloydminster Police Dog Service (PDS) reported they led the search in relation to possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Investigators seized about 2.1 oz of suspected methamphetamine, 1 oz of suspected morphine, and 3.9 grams of suspected fentanyl.

Alexia Marsh, 18-years of Lloydminster and Lisa Drouin, 43-years of Lloydminster were arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – Morphine

Wade Gower, 52-years of Lloydminster, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – Morphine
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl

Gower was held for a judicial interim release hearing. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Saskatchewan provincial court on April 8, 2023.

Marsh and Drouin were both held for a judicial interim release hearing. They were both released and are to return to Lloydminster Saskatchewan provincial court on April 24, 2023.
