Spring clean-up is ramping up as the city targets street sweeping downtown and main routes before switching to residential sweeping from Monday May 8.
The sweeping will follow the curbside collection zones beginning with the blue zone, followed by yellow, pink, and green, and wrapping up with homes in the orange zone.
Officials ask residents not to park on the street when sweepers are scheduled to be in their area. Street sweeping will typically take place from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Thursday.
Signs will be posted at least 36-hours before sweeping operations. If signs remain posted into the weekend, residents are permitted to park their vehicles on the street, however, vehicles must be removed the following Monday to allow street sweeping operations to continue.
