Maidstone RCMP seek vehicle, suspects

Maidstone RCMP are asking for your help as they are seeking a vehicle that was used to escape the scene of an armed robbery.

Investigators say the vehicle is a grey 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty with Saskatchewan License Plate 720 KBF.

On May 14 at about 11:55 p.m., Maidstone RCMP responded to the report of an armed robbery at a home involving a firearm on the 100th block of Third Avenue East in Maidstone.

Police say two male-suspects wearing ski masks and a female-suspect were demanding money from an occupant of the residence. When the trio left the residence, one of the suspects fired a weapon the air. There were no injuries according to the police.

Officers add when they arrived, the suspects were leaving in the vehicle which was reported as having been stolen from North Battleford earlier that day.

The truck fled from police and continued east of Maidstone. Officers pursued for 15 minutes. The truck was last seen turning north of Highway 16 and was lost in the dust from its speeding, say police.

The investigation is ongoing and at this point police believe this is an isolated incident.
