Two suspects from Macklin are to answer drugs and other charges in Unity court in November.
On Sep. 14, Unity RCMP executed search warrants at two homes on Mirror Road in Macklin.
At the first house, officers seized two long guns and a prohibited magazine. In the other, officers seized two handguns and three long guns.
Investigators also confiscated suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin, unidentified pharmaceutical-style drugs, drug trafficking items, and cash at the residences.

Craig Kostiuk, 53-years from Macklin is charged with:
- Two counts, possession for the purpose of trafficking
- One count, possession
- Five counts, of unlicensed possession of a firearm
- Two counts, unlicensed possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition
- Two counts, careless storage of a restricted firearm
- One count, unlawfully sell, transport, distribute, or possess unstamped tobacco
Also facing charges is Janelle McCullough, 36 years from Macklin with:
- Two counts, possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Two counts, possession
- Two counts, of unlicensed possession of a firearm
- One count, possession of a prohibited device
- One count, careless storage of a restricted firearm
The suspects are scheduled to return to court in Unity on Nov. 20.
