Dangerous driving suspect back in court Oct. 17

A female driver from Streamstown, Alberta is on the Lloydminster court docket for Oct. 17. after police were called out on Aug. 19 to deal with complaints of dangerous driving.

Kitscoty RCMP say there were multiple complaints of a female driving dangerously on Highway 16. When police caught up with the vehicle, they said that the driver sped off and continued driving dangerously over some 13 km before finally stopping.

The driver, 35-year-old Ashley Nicole Alexander, of Streamstown, is facing charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police. 

She appeared in Lloydminster court on Sep. 26 and has a return date on Oct. 17.

Both Kitscoty and Lloydminster officers were involved in stopping the vehicle and Alberta RCMP is expressing its thanks to the public for alerting officers.
