Cutknife-Turtleford MLA facing criminal charges, booted from caucus

A Saskatchewan Party MLA has been axed from caucus after police in Regina laid charges of communicating to obtain sexual services.

Ryan Domotor, MLA for Cut Knife-Turtleford was allegedly caught in a sting operation by Regina Police.

He was arrested yesterday at a business in east Regina.

Domotor who was first elected in 2020 will have his first court appearance on Jan. 4 in Regina.

He served as the chief administrative officer for the RM of Mervin from 1994 to 2020 and lives with his family in Turtleford.

Premier Scott Moe announced on Friday that he has also relieved Domotor of all government appointments.
