Lloydminster RCMP seize homemade gun from suspects on conditions

Roger Lameman, 42-years, and Geraldine Dillon, 52-years who are both on conditions not to communicate with each other or possess firearms were pulled over as Lloydminster RCMP led a traffic stop.

On Feb. 14, at about 8:50 p.m., police say they were on patrol along Highway 16 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Officers stopped a brown Chrysler 300 for what they determined was a traffic infraction.

They determined that the driver of the vehicle was wanted on a traffic-related warrant and both occupants were on conditions not to communicate with each other or possess firearms. Officers also found a homemade firearm and a set of nunchucks.

Both suspects from Onion Lake have been charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
  • One count each for unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Careless storage of firearm
  • Carrying a concealed weapon
  • Two counts of breach of undertaking

Lameman and Dillon were brought before a peace justice and remanded into custody. Their next court date is set for Feb. 20 at the Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Lloydminster.
