RCMP encouraging public to check their vehicles while charging after truck fire
Lloydminster RCMP are encouraging everyone to keep an eye on their vehicles while they are being charged after a truck fire on Monday. Early Monday morning, the RCMP responded to a truck engulfed in flames at a home near the intersection of 36 street and 48 avenue. After the fire was put out, a battery charger was found under the hood, and it is believed to be the cause of the fire. Constable Grant Kirzinger with the Lloydminster RCMP says everyone who is charging their vehicle should check it regularly, and that it is a relief nobody was injured in the fire.
