Two people from Lloydminster are facing charges after an RCMP traffic stop near Vegreville. RCMP intercepted a vehicle carrying marijuana, ecstasy, oxycodone, drug paraphernalia, drug trafficking equipment and Canadian currency which was determined to be proceeds of crime. An 18 year old woman from Kitscoty, was also arrested with a recognizance to appear in court in October. RCMP say they believe those who traffic in illicit drugs destroy lives, homes and communities and remain fully committed in building safe and secure communities. RCMP encourage anyone with information on the illicit drug trade to contact the Vegreville Detachment.
