RCMP looking into Bonnyville thefts

Police in Bonnyville are alerting the public to two thefts in the local area.

According to the Bonnyville RCMP, the detachment received a complaint from a resident about a break and enter to his garage on June 15, 2016. The property where the theft occurred was near Range Road 452 and Township Road 614, and firearms were stolen during the incident. Stolen items include a Browning semi automatic 22, a Cooey semi automatic 22,a Mossberg pump action shotgun, a bolt action rifle, several pellet guns, ammunition and a gun cleaning kit.

The police are also investigating the  theft of a 1981 red Honda trike ATV. The trike was stolen from a property on Muriel Lake sometime between the dates of May 18, 2016 and May 28, 2016.  The vehicle has a duct tape seat, and a dent on the gas tank.  If anyone has any information in regards to this crime or any others they are asked to contact the Bonnyville RCMP at 780-343-7200.
