The Lloydminster Fire Department is encouraging Lloydminster residents to check their smoke detectors, as the theme of this year’s Fire Prevention week. The department says that smoke detectors need to be checked once a month to make sure they work. Â The Lloydminster Number Two Fire House will be having an open house Thursday at 6 P.M. They are also offering to conduct home inspections on Tuesday and Thursday, in order to limit fire hazards in the home.
