St. Paul RCMP investigate sudden death

St. Paul RCMP are investigating a sudden death.

A 43-year-old St. Paul man died as a result of an altercation on the afternoon Saturday, July 30.

The man was transported to Edmonton hospital for treatment but died Sunday. RCMP continue to look into things with the help of RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner from Edmonton.

Police haven’t yet determined whether or not the death of the man is criminal in nature but ask that anyone who witnessed an incident behind the post office, in St. Paul, between 3:00 p.m. MT and 4:00 p.m. MT on July 30, to report.

You can call the St. Paul RCMP Detachment at 780-645-8870, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or your local police agency.
