Onion Lake RCMP seeking Terrance Stonechild

The RCMP in Onion Lake are seeking a wanted man.

In a police news release, the detachment indicated they were looking for information from the public in finding 28 year old Terrance Stonechild, who is a resident of the community. Stonechild is wanted for two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Stonechild is described as a First Nations man, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing around 220 pounds with black hair. He is known to frequent Onion Lake, Sask, Fishing Lake, Alta, and Frog Lake, Alta.

Stonechild was previously in the court system with two other men on charges of attempted murder, among others, after an Onion Lake woman was shot in the head in December. The charges against Stonechild were stayed after he plead guilty to three breaches of probation and two counts of assaulting a police officer.
