City services & operations for Labour Day 2016

The City of Lloydminster has issued a public notice regarding which city services will be available, along with their hours, on holiday Monday.

The City will provide the following services with these hours of operation on Labour Day, Monday, Sept. 5, 2016:

  • City Hall will be closed to the public on Monday, Sept. 5, with regular hours of operation resuming on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
  • The Operations Centre will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5, with regular hours of operation resuming on Tuesday, Sept. 6. The City has a crew on standby that can be reached at the after-hours number, 780-872-5418. Residents can also use the online Report a Concern service at http://www.lloydminster.ca to report road maintenance issues, among other items of concern.
  • The Lloydminster Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5. Regular hours of operation resume at the landfill on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
  • Garbage, Organics and Blue Bag curbside collection will be completed on Monday, Sept. 5 in the blue zone.
  • The Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre (LCSC) will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5. The LCSC’s fall/winter hours take effect on Tuesday, Sept. 6:
    • Open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Open Thursdays to 9 p.m.
    • Closed every Sunday and Monday

  • The Bioclean Aquatic Centre is closed for its annual maintenance closure. The centre is scheduled to reopen on Monday, Sept. 26, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Registration for fall programming and swimming lessons will be available online and by phone during the closure. For more information, please visit http://www.lloydminster.ca/bac

  • The Outdoor Pool will be open to the public on Monday, Sept. 5, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and closing for the season effective Tuesday, Sept. 6. Visit http://www.lloydminster.ca/outdoorpool for more information.
  • The Servus Sports Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5. Fun Zone will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 5 for children under the age of six.   • The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5. The golf course and driving range will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Pro Shop will open at 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. For more information or to book a tee time, please call 306-825-3406 or visit www.lgcc.ca
  • The Centennial Civic Centre administration office will be closed to the public on Monday, Sept. 5 reopening with regular hours of operation on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Visit http://www.lloydminster.ca/ccc for the public skating schedule.

  • The Public Safety Office (bylaw office) will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5, with regular hours of operation resuming on Tuesday, Sept. 6. To reach an on-call bylaw officer, please call 306-825-6350
