Some nasty weather could be headed for the Border City.
According to a special weather statement issued by Environment Canada, a low pressure system will be developing and spreading freezing rain into the area by Friday morning. The system will be developing in the Rocky Mountain House and Airdrie regions, intensifying and heading east into Lloydminster and Coronation. Snow will then follow the freezing rain as the system heads into Saskatchewan.
