Lloydminster Motor Club Annual Car Show, In Support of Marcel Impey
The Lloydminster Motor Club is hosting their annual car show, in support of a local resident in need! From their bio:
“In the early hours of Saturday, August 21st, a Lloydminster resident by the name of Marcel Impey was woken up by smoke and fire that was started on his patio and has been deemed arson. Along with losing some of his worldly possessions, he lost one of their feline family members due to smoke inhalation issues, while the other has incurred thousands of dollars in vet fees to make a recovery. Marcel, unfortunately, lost his home, and a lot of uncertainty has come about since then, and we have decided that this is something we need to help with.
This year, we’re hosting our yearly “Motor Show” on Sunday, September 26th, in hopes to raise some money for Marcel and his family. We are hoping that anyone or businesses would be willing to donate some items for us to raffle off, add them to our silent auction, or possibly give them away to our participants. Along with helping Marcel and his family, we will also be raising money for the Lloydminster Kinsmen, and the Snowflake House Respite foundation.
We are also going to be offering the option for people to set up vendor booths, with booth fees being 100% to your discretion, and all booth fees being donated to the Lloydminster Kinsmen. We will also be offering food services, with monies raised from that going towards the Snowflake House.”
