Border City sweep up

Street sweeping has begun in Lloydminster.  Street sweepers will be in operation from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the downtown area, followed by Highway 16 and Highway 17, until Thursday. The sweeping will start in residential areas first, then major arterial routes, including Highway 16, Highway 17 and College Drive, and industrial parks. Residents in the border city are asked to remove their vehicles
and curbside collection carts from streets before the sweeping begins in their area.  Areas of the street that are wet or have snow will not be cleared by street sweepers until drier conditions. And motorists are advised to exercise caution around street sweepers and stay a safe distance of eight metres from the equipment.
