The city of Lloydminster has kicked off their snow removal strategy.
The city says that they will clear streets in order of priority, as outlined in the Winter Maintenance Policy. Snow removal crews will focus on Priority One routes first, such as highways 16 and 17. The crews will then move to Priority Two routes, which include collector roads.
Public sidewalks and walkways will be cleared by the city as often as necessary.
Drivers are asked to remain at least eight meters away from snow removal equipment while roads are being worked on.
