SPCA Locks Up Local Celebs For A Good Cause

The Lloydminster Chapter of the SPCA says their Jail ‘n Bail fundraiser was a success. Local celebrities from across the city were imprisoned in kennels with animals, as an effort to raise money for the shelter. Among those locked up were Malcolm Radke from the Bobcats, Brian Myers from the Meridian Booster, and city councillor Chris McQuid. Funding and Communications Coordinator Jakki Tyson says the event has generated a lot of excitement, and that she was confident the charity would reach their goal of $52,000 by the end of the day.
