Dogs Sniff Out Thief Who Robbed Lloydminster Pharmacy

A man is in police custody after an attempted armed robbery in Lloydminster. Tuesday afternoon, the RCMP received a call of an armed robbery from Family Pharmacy, near the intersection of 50th Avenue and 27th Street. A man in his twenties in dark clothing entered the pharmacy and placed a note on the counter saying he had a knife, and demanding perscription drugs. The RCMP used Police Dog Services to track the thief, and he was later located and arrested by an officer on patrol in the area.
