A serving member of Swift Current RCMP has been arrested in connection with drug dealing. The officer was arrested on Monday by the F Division Major Crimes Unit, and has been charged with trafficking Cocaine, MDMA, and ecstasy. The member has been suspended, and will face an internal code of conduct investigation, in addition to the charges. He has been with the RCMP for seven years, serving at the Swift Current detachment since 2012. He will be making his first appearance in court on February 18th.
