Bonnyville Crime Rate Up In 2014

Bonnyville says crime is going up in their community. Director of Public Safety Chris Garner presented the 2014 year-end report to Bonnyville Council on Wednesday, stating that officers dealt with over 5,000 incidents, a big jump from 2013’s total of under 3,300. The biggest increase was in traffic violations, which saw an jump of more than 1,700.
