Warrant Issued For Lloydminster Man

An arrest warrant has been issued for 39 year old Brian Walter Barber from Lloydminster. The 39 year old has been charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00
  • One count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00

This comes after Wilkie RCMP received a complaint of a side-by-side ATV that had been stolen from a rural property near Unity on July 2. Battlefords, Cut Knife and Wilkie RCMP also received calls regarding suspicious people at rural properties asking for fuel, oil and water on the same day. At one of the properties, RCMP say the suspects were seen driving the stolen ATV. Pictures of the suspects were taken and posted to social media.

RCMP add that the suspects were also seen pulling a horse trailer in an older model pickup truck. The horse trailer was recovered by the Battlefords RCMP and determined to be stolen from the the Kitscoty area.

Later on that evening, Cut Knife RCMP arrested an adult man and woman in the RM of Hillsdale after they were found in possession of a stolen vehicle. It was determined that the two people in custody were the same people that had been at the rural properties.
