Vermilion Tourist Centre Will Get Accessibility Makeover

Vermilion’s Tourist Centre will undergo a renovation. The town has just received $14,000 from the federal government’s Enabling Accessibility Fund. Vegreville-Wainwright MP Leon Benoit presented the town with the money. He says this fund is separate from the government’s infrastructure grants. The money will be used to construct more accessible parking, widen hallways, and renovate washrooms at the centre. Since 2012, nearly $580,000 of the fund has been spent in the area.
