The City of Lloydminster is encouraging residents to take a break from technology. The City’s Family Day Unplugged campaign is back, with the goal of getting families to spend time together, away from their devices. General manager of Cultural and Social Services, Patrick Lancaster, says the city has organized a few things this weekend, including a contest. Other public events include a free shinny game at the Archie Miller Arena on Saturday, free skating at the arena on Sunday, and Winterfest at the Servus Sports Centre on Monday.
