Two women from Moosomin First Nation have been arrested after allegedly setting a car on fire. Early Sunday afternoon, Battleford RCMP received a report of an arson to a car. The caller was able to put out the fire, and witnessed two women fleeing the scene. The RCMP found the suspects at a home nearby. One of the women was wanted on a warrant for violating her bail conditions. She was arrested, and faces new charges of failing to comply with an undertaking, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest. The second woman was also arrested, but has not yet been charged.
