The crosswalk lights at 53rd Avenue and 25th Street have been taken down as part of a construction project. The street has been reduced to two lanes of traffic south of the median between 50th and 53rd Avenues, as road crews work to twin the sanitary trunk. Traffic along the street has been reduced to 30 km/hour, and a temporary crosswalk has been set up on the West side of the intersection until the construction is finished in April. The city suggests that motorists allow extra time when travelling, and to find alternate routes.
