The Canadian AIDS society is gearing up for a nation-wide fundraiser. The charity has partnered with Mylan Pharmaceuticals in the “Mylan Relay For Hope.” The relay will start in Newfoundland in April, and finish in Hope, B.C. sometime in late October. Teams of 3 runners will make their way across each province, while raising money online for the fight against HIV and AIDS. CEO of the Canadian AIDS Society, Monique Doolittle-Romas, hopes the relay will become an annual event, and that their minimum goal is $200,000. Ideal candidates should be able to run 17-20 kilometers a day for a 2-3 week time period. To sign up, visit the website, at www.relayforhope.ca.
