MLA Darryl Hickie Resigns

Prince Albert-Carlton MLA Darryl Hickie is resigning. Hickie says he will resign March 9th to return to the Prince Albert Police Service – a job he held before being elected in 2007. Hickie says he has enjoyed serving the people of Prince Albert in the Legislature, and looks forward to continuing to serve them in a different role. His resignation will come so close to the next provincial election, that Premier Brad Wall will likely not call for a byelection.
