Traffic Stop Near Lloydminster Leads to Seizure of Guns and Drugs

Four people are facing several charges following a traffic stop on Highway 17, just North of Lloydminster.

Last Wednesday, Maidstone RCMP say they conducted a traffic stop which lead to the seizure of guns and drugs.

Devin Nasby from St. Walburg is facing 16 charges, Nathan Wolfe from the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation is facing 13 charges, Derek Weeseekase from the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation is facing 17 charges charges and Sloan Ochuschayoo from the Big Island Lake Cree Territory is facing 14 charges. All are facing two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of possession of a firearm without a licence.

All four were remanded and will appear in court today.
