Goaltender Pierce Diamond Coming Back to the Bobcats

Goaltender Pierce Diamond is coming back to the Lloydminster Bobcats following a short stint with the Calgary Canucks.

The Bobcats acquired him in exchange for future considerations.

Diamond originally began his AJHL career with the Lloydminster Bobcats during the 2015-16 season. He had  a 27-6- 4 record, a 2.24 GAA and a .906 save percentage in his last season with the Wolverines. His career record sits at 41-12-4, with a 2.39 GAA and a .901 save percentage.

“We are very excited to have Pierce join our team. Being able to acquire a player with the experience and track record Pierce has is only going to help our team moving forward. He has been very successful in this league and we’re just happy to be able to have him back in orange and black,” said Bobcats Head Coach and GM Travis Clayton.

The 5’10”, 178 pound goalie is expected to be with the Bobcats Wednesday night when they visit the Spruce Grove Saints.
