Nine-Car Pileup In Denholm

Battlefords RCMP are urging caution while travelling after a nine-car pileup in Denholm. Saturday afternoon, police were called to the site of a three-car accident, but after attending the scene, six more vehicles crashed, causing damage to one of the RCMP cruisers. Police say that slippery roads, combined with reduced visibility from blowing snow factored heavily into the pileup. The RCMP says that drivers in North Battleford should wait until snowplows have a chance to clear the highways before travelling.
