RCMP Investigating After Calf Shot With An Arrow

The Elk Point RCMP is investigating following a calf being shot with an arrow.

Police say they responded to an animal cruelty report on a rural property northeast of Elk Point near Range Road 63.

When they arrived, the police found an injured calf who had been shot with an arrow. The calf sustained minor injuries but police say it has since recovered and is doing well. The calf is believed to have been shot sometime between September 23 and 24 while in a pasture.
