Elk Point RCMP Investigating Alleged Attempted Car Jacking and Break and Enter

The Elk Point RCMP is investigating a report of an attempted car jacking near the community hall in Frog Lake.

Monday morning, around 7:00 a.m., police say a black truck tried to force another vehicle off the road, then one of the occupants produced what believed to be a firearm at the victim. The truck and it’s several occupants then drove away according to RCMP.

Before this, police say a truck matching the same description was involved in a break and enter in Laurier Lake.

The truck is described as a black four door half-ton F150, it has severe damage to passenger side, the passenge side headlight is dimmer and there is no passenger side mirror. The truck is also missing a license plate and has something dragging beneath it.

The male suspect is described as approximately six feet tall. He was wearing a white hat, white hoodie and white shoes.
