Three Term Councillor Caroline McAuley Unofficially Elected as Mayor for Town of Vermilion

Caroline McAuley is unofficially the new mayor for The Town of Vermilion beating out incumbent Bruce MacDuff.

Sitting on the councilĀ are incumbents Gregory Barr, Clinton McCullough, Richard Yaceyko and Robert Pulyk. Newcomers Tannis Henderson and Justin Thompson were also elected.

There were 1,099 voters in this election.

In the student vote that is held in schools across Alberta, Kirby Whitlock was elected as Mayor. On council incumbents Clint McCullough, Gregory Barr, Justin Thompson, Richard Yaceyko and Robert Pulyk, along with newcomer Tannis Henderson were selected. A total of 2,033 votes were cast in the student election.
