UPDATE: Suspect’s Truck Involved in Alleged Attempted Car Jacking Recovered

The Elk Point RCMP are continuing to look for a suspect involved in alleged attempted car jacking and robbery.

Police say the suspect’s vehicle was found abandoned in the Frog Lake area.

On October 16 police say a black truck tried to force another vehicle off the road, then one of the occupants produced what believed to be a firearm at the victim. The truck and it’s several occupants then drove away according to RCMP.

Before this, police say a truck matching the same description was involved in a break and enter in Laurier Lake.

The suspect is described as being approximately six feet tall and was wearing a white hat, white hoodie and white shoes.
