RCMP Investigating Homicide in Elk Point

The Two Hills RCMP detachment and the RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit are investigating a homicide, following reports that 58-year-old James Craig from Elk Point was found deceased inside his home on Sunday.

The Forensic Identification Section from the St. Paul RCMP Detachment are also helping with the investigation.

An autopsy will be completed today at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton.

The RCMP is asking for anyone with information to call the Two Hills RCMP Detachment. Investigators say they would like to hear from people who may have had contact with Craig prior to Sunday.  If you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
