225 People Hospitalized for Flu So Far This Season in Alberta

The total number of people hospitalized in Alberta for influenza has jumped by 93 people in just under two weeks.

So far 225 people have been admitted to hospital for the flu, up from 132 on November 10th. The Calgary region saw the most with 59%. The Central Zone,which includes Lloydminster, saw five more people hospitalized for flu.

AHS has administered 901, 338 flu vaccinations in Alberta this season, with 79,777 flu shots given in the central zone.
