Police Triumph Over Fire In ‘Battle Of The Badges’

Lloydminster RCMP are celebrating their 15-10 victory over the Fire Department in the First Annual ‘Battle of the Badges’ hockey game. Around 300 fans attended, and over $4,000 was raised for charity. The RCMP won just over $3,000 for Midwest Victim Services, and $1,000 went to the Fire Department’s charity – the Sexual Assault Centre. Constable Grant Kirzinger says that the event met their fundraising goals, and he was happy with the turnout.
