RCMP: residents advised to stay off 1000 Block of 109th Street in North Battleford

Battlefords RCMP is warning people to stay away from the 1000 block of 109th Street in North Battleford at this time and people living in that area to stay indoors.

Police and specialized support teams are currently involved with an operation in the area. Residents may see an increased police presence and hear loud noises. They say there is no danger to the public but people should avoid the area.

RCMP will update when the operation is over.
