Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Lloydminster and area today.
The warning also covers Vermilion, Wainwright and Provost as well. Freezing rain is expected to continue until around 2:30 this afternoon.
Residents are urged to adjust driving and be careful while walking outdoors as freezing rain makes surfaces slick and icy.
