Extreme wind-chills, between minus 40 and minus 45 are expected tonight, creating a risk of hypothermia and frostbite.

Environment Canada says risks are greater for young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses, people working or exercising outdoors, and those without proper shelter.

They are also warning people to stay inside if possible and to bring in your pets, as it will too cold for them as well.
