Drinking Water Advisory in effect for Lashburn

The Saskatchewan Water Security Agency has issued a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory for residents in Lashburn, SK.

The advisory is due to depressurization caused by the water treatment plant maintenance. They say to boil all water for at least one minute if you are drinking it, as well as not to use water for washing dishes unless the water has been boiled.

They also ask residents not to drink water from public fountains and to use an alternative water source that are safe, if you don’t want to boil your water. Adolescent children and adults can still take showers and laundry can still be washed by hand or by machine.

The advisory will be in effect until further notice.
