3rd Update Road Report: Nasty Highway Conditions Surrounding Lloydminster

UPDATE: Unity RCMP say the semi truck has been moved and Highway 14 near Macklin is open to traffic. They do not recommend traveling on the highway due to winter conditions. 

UPDATE: Highway 17 North Towards Sandy Beach is currently blowing snow and covered in ice. Reports say three cars are already in the ditch.

Roads around Lloydminster are nasty right now, with many drivers reporting nasty conditions across the city and outside.

Township Road 504 between Highway 17 and 40th Ave is still closed after a truck rolled over Wednesday morning. The Goat Newsroom has also received reports that Highway 17 South is sheer ice, with blowing snow and drifts making it even harder to drive. Roads after Blackfoot are also snow covered, windy and ice covered.
