Maidstone RCMP looking for culprit in thefts from vehicles

Maidstone RCMP are on the lookout for a thief.

Overnight on Sunday, several vehicles in Maidstone had items stolen from them, including guns, cash, and jewelery. No suspects have yet been identified.

The RCMP would like to remind the public to not leave valuables in their vehicles, and to lock them overnight. They also say that guns and ammunition should be stored in a locker, and to store them unsafely in a car is a crime.

If anyone has any information about the thefts, they are asked to call Maidstone RCMP at (306) 893-4800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
