The LPSD School Board by-election candidate list has been finalized.
Three people have been nominated for the position – Cheryl Ross, Walter Hardy, and Chrissy Davison. Copies of nomination paperwork can be viewed publicly at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall.
The election has been set for April 22nd, with one polling station available at Barr Colony School, from 9 AM to 8 PM. Advanced ballots can be cast April 16th, at City Hall. All voters must show identification when they vote.
The position of school board member became vacant when MLA Colleen Young resigned from the position January 28. The new member will serve until 2016.
