Lloydminster youths to represent in Provincial Football

Six Lloydminster teens will be headed to Football Alberta Senior Bowl North Camp this weekend.

The training camp will see 147 of Alberta’s top high-school football player trying to fill forty spots on Alberta’s Alberta North Provincial Team.

Among the Lloydminster players is the Lloydminster Barons receivers Deigo Falcon and Eric Stephens, offensive guard Kyle Theiss and defensive corner Garrett Musgraves. Holy Rosary also has linebacker Chopper Hippe and defensive corner Eli Klassan competing.

The players selected from this training camp will go on to compete for the Alberta North team in the 29th Annual Senior Bowl at Edmonton`s Foote Field May 21st, and in turn possibly take the Provincial Championship.
